Products Description of Sodium Xylene Sulfonate CAS#1300-72-7
Sodium Xylene Sulfonate is a white to light yellow liquid surfactant with excellent water solubility. A 1% aqueous solution has a pH value of 7.0, with a viscosity of 10 mPa·s and a kinematic viscosity of 2.7 mm²/s at 20°C.
It is widely used as a coupling agent, solubilizer, cloud point depressant, detergent booster, dispersant, emulsifier, hydrotrope, and viscosity regulator. Sodium Xylene Sulfonate is commonly applied in shampoos, household and dishwashing detergents, dry-cleaning agents, hard surface cleaners, metal processing cleaners, bactericides, adhesives, dyes and pigments, electroplating solutions, lubricating cutting oils, photographic materials, inks, textile processing, leather manufacturing, and other industrial formulations.
