Products Description of Silica Gel CAS#112926-00-8
Silicone gel is a type of silicone rubber with a low cross-link density and no fillers. Unlike conventional silicone rubber elastomers, it has a transparent or translucent gel-like appearance, very low mechanical strength, and hardness that is difficult to measure using conventional methods. Its physical strength is generally evaluated by needle penetration.
In addition to the typical advantages of silicone-based materials, including high and low temperature resistance, safety, non-toxicity, good biocompatibility, and excellent electrical insulation properties, silicone gel also exhibits characteristic properties of gel-state materials, such as vibration absorption, adhesion, and sealing performance.

Product Application of Silica Gel CAS#112926-00-8
Silicone gel is widely used in medical prostheses, medical dressings, electronic and electrical potting, and other applications due to its excellent cushioning performance, colorless and transparent appearance, adjustable properties, convenient processing and molding, good flowability, and ability to fill fine structures.
The application of silicone gel in daily necessities has also developed rapidly, mainly because of its non-toxic and non-irritating properties, as well as its cushioning and vibration-absorbing capabilities. Silicone gel is already used in various products, including cushioning pads for shoe soles, seat cushions, and padding for underwear.
