Products Description of VANPLAST 202 CAS#61790-48-5
VANPLAST 202 (CAS No. 61790-48-5), also known as barium petroleum sulfonate, is a reddish-brown to brown semi-solid or viscous liquid. It is a widely used oil-soluble rust inhibitor, mainly applied in the formulation of rust-preventive oils and greases. By forming a protective film on metal surfaces, it helps prevent rust formation. VANPLAST 202 is readily soluble in mineral oils and organic solvents, while exhibiting limited solubility in water.
