Products Description of Magnesium Carbonate Hydroxide CAS#39409-82-0
Magnesium carbonate hydroxide is a white crystalline material with a monoclinic crystal system and a relative density of 2.254. It is sparingly soluble in water, yet dissolves quickly in dilute acids. Contact with acids triggers foaming decomposition and releases carbon dioxide. Under heating and calcination conditions, it decomposes into magnesium oxide and carbon dioxide.

Product Application of Magnesium Carbonate Hydroxide CAS#39409-82-0
Magnesium carbonate hydroxide is primarily applied as a filler and reinforcing agent for transparent or pale-coloured rubber goods. It helps boost the rubber’s wear resistance, flex resistance and tensile strength. Apart from that, it serves as an additive for paints, graphite and coatings, and finds usage in toothpaste, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors.
